Updates to the Public Market Building

The Boston Public Market is celebrating the unveiling of its new look that will cover all windows on the market’s permanent site on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway. The new building wrap marks the beginning of a new era for the market, as its look debuts the mission, values and goods that will be found at the market once the permanent site opens to the public.

“We are very excited about this new look because it will show anyone who walks by all the great things that will be coming to the market once we open,” said Liz Morningstar, CEO of the Boston Public Market. “It is a visible indicator of all the progress that we have made, and it’s a great way to spread the word about all the fresh and local food that will ultimately fill the market.”

The Boston Public Market is establishing a permanent 28,000 square foot market that will be open year-round on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway, right next to Haymarket. It is located on the first floor of the orange line’s Haymarket Station.
