Where

April 17th will be held in the Nook. April 24th will be held in the HUB.

Overview

Celebrate Earth Day with Ninawa Zero-Waste Clothes! Bring one denim item (jeans, shorts, shirt, or a jacket) to upcycle it and add a custom design to transform it into something brand new. Ninawa Zero-Waste’s owner Aelen will provide leftover textiles to make patches, plus needles and thread to help you custom design your denim item.

Ninawa Zero-Waste Clothes celebrates Earth Day every day by upcycling thousands of unwanted trashed textiles and clothes into eco-friendly tote bags, kitchen accessories, home decor and sustainable clothes. Ninawa Zero-Waste’s mission is to reduce the waste of textiles that is sent to landfill and to reduce the uses of plastic bags by replacing them with eco-friendly handmade tote bags.
