Our vendors are dedicated to showcasing the variety and quality of food grown, produced, and caught in Massachusetts and throughout New England.

Farmers, fishers, bakers, artists, and specialty food producers all come together under one roof to create a unique, vibrant retail community in the heart of Downtown Boston.

Our vendors are looking for motivated, passionate, customer service-oriented individuals to represent their businesses as customer service representatives, food preparers, and retailers at the Market.

internship opportunities at boston public market

Looking for an internship in Boston that offers meaningful, hands-on experience? At Boston Public Market, our interns are more than observers—they’re valued members of our team. As a nonprofit organization celebrating local food, small businesses, and community, we offer internship opportunities throughout the year across a variety of departments.

Whether you’re interested in marketing, graphic design, social media, community engagement, children’s programming, event planning, event management, nonprofit administration, or communications, our internships provide real-world experience that helps build your portfolio and professional skills.

Unlike larger organizations where interns may only work within one department, Boston Public Market’s small, collaborative team means you’ll work directly alongside experienced professionals every day. You’ll gain exposure to multiple aspects of nonprofit operations, contribute to meaningful projects, and play an active role in bringing community events and programs to life.

Located in the heart of downtown Boston, Boston Public Market hosts hundreds of events each year and welcomes thousands of visitors every day. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact while developing valuable experience in marketing, design, event management, public engagement, and nonprofit leadership.

We regularly welcome interns from colleges and universities throughout Greater Boston and are happy to work with students seeking academic credit. If you’re passionate about local food, community building, creative storytelling, and creating memorable experiences, we’d love to hear from you. Explore our current internship openings and discover how you can grow your career at Boston Public Market.
