Hi-Rise Bread Company Now Open at the Boston Public Market

Loaves of bread and pastries available in the Market
BOSTON (January 2019) – Hi-Rise Bread Company has opened a retail storefront at the Boston Public Market selling breads, muffins, scones, cakes, cookies, jam, and granola. After their initial launch, Hi-Rise will expand their menu to also include sandwiches, soups, and salads. You can stay updated by following them on Facebook (@hirisebreadcompany), Instagram (@hirisebreadco), or Twitter (@hirisebreadco).
Hi-Rise will operate out of the space formerly occupied by George Howell Coffee, in front of The Popover Lady. George Howell Coffee has moved into a larger stall across the aisle. Since moving, they have expanded their offerings and plan to introduce exciting updates soon.
Hi-Rise Bread Co. is a family owned and operated bakery and café that has been a community mainstay in Cambridge since 1996. Hi-Rise uses the highest quality ingredients to make staples for the morning commute, lunch get-together, dinner table, and pantry. From breads, pastries, cookies, and jam to sandwiches, soups, and salads, Hi-Rise makes everything from scratch, every day.
“We’re thrilled to join the Public Market for lots of reasons, but none is more important than the fact that we share the same values with BPM’s vendors, employees, and customers,” said René Becker, owner of Hi-Rise Bread Company. “Hi-Rise has been living and baking from those values since we started in 1996 and we’re really looking forward to sharing our commitment to ingredient-driven, locally sourced, handmade products with a new community.”
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the arrival of Hi-Rise,” said Boston Public Market CEO, Cheryl Cronin. “They are a fantastic, award-winning bread company with the highest quality product. The addition of bread to the Market broadens our product diversity, making this a place where our customers can continue to purchase all of their grocery staples in one visit.”
