Dr. Bessette Naturals now open at Boston Public Market

Natural FARM-TO-SHOWER Soaps Available at the Market BOSTON, MA

(September 2018) — Dr. Bessette Naturals, creator of handmade soaps and skincare products is now open at the Boston Public Market. Located directly across from Levend Bagelry, Dr. Bessette sells a variety of her own formulas for natural soaps, free from artificial anything.

Carolyn Bessette, M.D. is a former Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company executive and author of the book The Bath Solution. She founded Dr. Bessette Naturals 4 years ago after realizing that what you put on your skin should be as free from artificial ingredients as the food you put in your body. She now spends her time developing and making new recipes for coloring and designing soaps using food, clay, and botanicals sourced from local farms and growers.

Dr. Carolyn Bessette prepares soaps out of her studio in Ware, Massachusetts, often using ingredients from local farms, including fellow BPM vendor, Stillman’s Farm. “I started selling my handmade soaps on a little antique produce cart in front of my house a few years ago with an old coffee can and the honor system for payment,” reflects Dr. Bessette. “Who would believe I am now proudly displaying them at the Boston Public Market! This is a thrill for me and my family and we are so excited to be a part of the BPM community.”

Her new line of FARM-TO-SHOWER soaps includes:

• Rosemary Beet

• Heirloom Carrot & Lavender

• Goat’s Milk & Fig

• Peppermint Watermelon

“It’s a pleasure to welcome a vendor who is so dedicated to our mission,” says Boston Public Market CEO Cheryl Cronin. “Not only is Dr. Bessette sourcing from local farms and producers, she is also raising awareness about how natural ingredients are an important factor in skin care.”

Dr. Bessette Naturals will occupy the space between Levend Bagelry and The KITCHEN at BPM. You can learn more about her soap making process from her Youtube channel or visit her website: drbessette.com for product details.
