BOSTON PUBLIC MARKET TO OFFER ONLINE ORDERING AND GROCERY HOME DELIVERY
New Partnership with Mercato Brings Your Favorite Market Vendors to Your Door
BOSTON, MA (June 2018) — The Boston Public Market (BPM), an indoor, year-round marketplace featuring 35 local farmers, fishers, and food entrepreneurs of New England, announces its partnership with Mercato, an online grocery delivery service launching in Boston this month. For the first time, customers can find their favorite BPM products online and get their full grocery shopping list – as well as fast casual meals – delivered to their doorstep with the click of a button. The Boston Public Market was recently named “Best Food Market” by Boston magazine.
Customers can navigate the entire Market online and fill their digital shopping basket with products from multiple BPM vendors. The delivery will arrive within a two-hour timeframe or at a pre-selected time of day and will reach most zip codes up to 16 miles from the Market.
“We are so thrilled to partner with Mercato and provide this new, convenient service for our customers. We want to make it as easy as possible to get everything you need at the Market, including fresh groceries and staple items or your favorite prepared breakfast, lunch, or dinner option. We’re pleased that the addition of this delivery service also extends our reach beyond the city to our fans in the suburbs who can’t visit us in person as frequently,” said Cheryl Cronin, CEO of the Boston Public Market.
