Farmers Market Offers Fresh Local Food on the Rose Kennedy Greenway

BOSTON (May 7, 2018) — The Boston Public Market Association’s farmers market at Dewey Square launches for the season on Tuesday, May 15, bringing fresh local food to residents, workers, commuters, and visitors alike. The market, located on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, offers options for lunch on-the-go, picnic fare, grocery shopping, and grabbing dinner ingredients on the way home.

In addition to the indoor, year round Boston Public Market (100 Hanover Street at Haymarket Station), the outdoor farmers market at Dewey Square on The Greenway offers farm fresh produce, meat and poultry, seafood, bread and baked goods, flowers, and an assortment of specialty and prepared foods from more than 20 New England farmers, fishers, and food entrepreneurs. The Boston Public Market Association has operated seasonal farmers markets in downtown Boston for over 10 years. Dewey Square vendors are proud to accept SNAP/EBT for all eligible products.
