Seasonal Farmers Markets

The Boston Public Market runs two seasonal farmers markets each year along the Rose Kennedy Greenway, featuring over 30 local producers. Products include farm fresh produce; meat, poultry, and eggs; cheese and dairy; fish; bread and baked goods; plants and flowers; and an assortment of specialty and prepared foods, including several “grab-and-go” lunch options. Vendors who are interested in selling at our 2014 farmers markets can email information@bostonpublicmarket.org for an application.

The Boston Public Market on the Greenway

Due to the construction on the Government Center MBTA station and the sidewalk along Cambridge Street, the City Hall Farmers Market will not be in operation in 2014. The market will be relocated to the plaza outside the future home of the Boston Public Market at 136 Blackstone Street, just a short walk from the old market location.

We are excited to launch a new seasonal market outside the home of the future Boston Public Market. The farmers market will be located on the plaza facing Surface Street and the Rose Kennedy Greenway and will operate every Monday and Wednesday from May 19 – November 26th from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm and feature many of your favorite vendors from the City Hall Farmers Market.
