About the Boston Public Market
The Boston Public Market Association was founded in 2001 by a group of city and state officials, farmers, chefs, environmentalists, businesspersons and people who like good, local foods. Our goal is the creation of a year-round market for Boston, to promote locally-grown and produced foods. The Boston Public Market at Dewey Square is a seasonal demonstration of our commitment to that goal. It is also the first activation of the Rose Kennedy Greenway.
